The 2021/2022 campaign was the debut season for SC Raven in the REYFAD Redemption League. Raven had an amazing start to the season on Matchday 1, after being two goals down by halftime at home to Imola Jesu FC. A dominant performance in the second half saw chances converted, with a hat-trick from Lase Adeye, a brace from Obi Charles, and a goal in the closing minutes from Emmanuel Isaac handing the team a 6-2 win.
Coach Ayoola’s boys made their intentions for the league title very clear after a 13-goal demolition of Tic FC, which put Raven out of reach on points and goal difference from second-placed King’s House. Michael Omotosho scored the first goal in the opening minutes of the game, giving Raven the lead. Man of the Match, Obi Charles, led the scoring with four goals, while Lase Adeye and Emmanuel Isaac both bagged hat-tricks, and two goals from Chinde Sunday wrapped up the game with a final score of 13–0.
Raven remained at the top of the log and continued dominating the league but dropped points in a goalless draw against Car Park FC. The boys nearly dropped points again in an intense away game against Future Bright. The scoreline was 3–3 in the closing minutes when a well-worked team attack initiated from defense produced magic in the 90th minute, giving Raven a match-winning goal to end the game 4–3.
On Matchday 13, Raven suffered their first and only defeat of the entire campaign, ending a 12-game unbeaten run. With one hand already on the league trophy, the team quickly bounced back and returned to winning ways. By Matchday 15, Raven had the other hand on the trophy and were crowned league champions.
The top four clubs on the log at the end of the season faced off in the REYFAD Super 4 Competition, where Raven locked horns with Best Talent FC in a one-legged semifinal tie. Best Talent FC failed to score and lost the tie by two goals, with Raven advancing to face King’s House in the final. After a 1–1 draw at the end of extra time, the match went to a penalty shootout, which Raven won 9–8 to lift their second trophy of an incredible season
